Over time, every battery slowly loses its ability to hold a full charge. When the battery is new, it can hold a full charge, lasting all day. But as it over time, it won't be able to hold as much energy — even if your phone still shows 100%. This means the battery might run out faster, and need to be charged more often.

Standard Battery 🌱

At Swappie, we test and diagnose the battery of every iPhone we refurbish. If the battery capacity is 86% or higher, the battery still works as normal. You will not run out of battery unexpectedly, unless you insist on a Star Wars marathon on your phone of course! The average battery capacity of Swappie Standard battery phones in 2022 was 89%. By not exchanging the battery in every phone, Swappie has already saved 1 million batteries (and counting!) from being thrown away. If we did need to replace the battery, your phone may tell you the battery is an unknown part, but your phone will still work like new.

Each new battery is carefully selected and goes through strict quality inspections to meet Swappie and EU standards for performance and durability. The batteries are installed and tested by our own in-house technicians—experts trained to ensure every device meets our refurbishment quality criteria.
